Homework
What do we need to do?
This term the level 2 students will be learning about the olden days. Teachers have designed a series of tasks to support this humanities topic and see it integrated through speaking and listening, design and creativity and numeracy.
Students will need to allocate time at home to complete these tasks. Students will also be given some time at school to work on these tasks.
Students are required to complete all 4 tasks throughout the term. Students can chose an era of time to base their task on. For example, all students have to conduct an interview with a person from a particular era, it is up to the student to decide what this era is (60s, 50s etc). Once an era has been chosen, students need to choose a different era for their next task.
Tasks can be completed in any order.
As a guide, to help students manage their time, aim for the following:
· One task completed by Friday 26 of October
· Two tasks completed Friday 9th November
· Three tasks completed by Friday 23rd of November
· Four tasks completed by Friday 7th of December
Students will be assessed on their level of effort, creativity and knowledge and understanding for the four tasks.
All students will have the opportunity to present their tasks at our ‘Olden Days Expo’ on Thursday December 13th
